Care Scheduler

Enter when each kind of care last happened and how often your vet or farrier wants it. You'll get a 12-month timeline, a calendar file for your phone, and a link to share with your barn.

Leave a row blank to skip it. The intervals start from common, sourced starting points. Your veterinarian and farrier set the real schedule for your horse.

Updating later? A new file does not replace events you already imported, and dates can change. Import into a separate calendar where your app supports it, then delete that calendar (or the old Good Rein events) before importing the new file.

Why these defaults? Hooves: 6–8 weeks is a common starting interval (UMN Extension). Teeth: a dental exam at least yearly, and younger or senior horses may need exams more often (AAEP). Vaccines: core vaccines plus risk-based ones, timed by your vet; some boosters come sooner than yearly (AAEP). Parasites: fecal egg counts once or twice a year plus a yearly fecal egg count reduction test of dewormer efficacy, with treatment set by your vet, not blind rotation (AAEP, 2024).
